A community for Children with special needs
Our Mission
We aim to create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate music education environment for children with special needs, and provide practical learning opportunities for aspiring music professionals at Baylor University. All at no cost to participants.
What We Believe About Music

...it is instinctual to all people, and is, in many ways, a universal language
...it helps develop language and reasoning
...all people can engage with and participate in music, creating an environment of shared enjoyment
...it is a combination of structure and free form, allowing for simultaneous reliability and freedom of exploration
...it allows conveyance and better understand of ideas and emotions, and fosters self expression
...it teaches people to work together
...it develops gross and fine motor skills
...it appeals to many different learning styles
...it is cross curricular, teaching a multitude of other skills important for other school subjects and life applications
